Documentary that gives background on Trollope's life from childhood, adolescence, adulthood and death.

A widow emerges from her mourning after a year. She moves into a new apartment, gets a new job, and a gains a 'gentleman caller,' her late husband's partner and former best friend. Her daughter opposes the relationship and causes considerable confusion. As she tries to work out her problems, she confides in a fellow worker. The friend offers her a shoulder to cry on and ultimately suggests that they have a relationship. Surprised and more confused than ever, she does find herself drawn to her friend.

After repeated friction with her macho husband, who cheats on her every whim, a fashion designer moves in with her neighbor. The man's world collapses, especially as the neighbor is a lesbian and he fears the “worst” for his wife. Together with a friend, he hatches a plan to save his wife.

When he curses his sister for acting like a "shop girl," Letty realizes that he views her and her class without respect. She leaves and accepts the love of her faithful friend Richard Perry, a poor photographer, whose rich uncle is going to help him in business

At night, in front of a small Caribbean house, a sign advertises a repair service for the husband. Inside, a witch and her apprentice try without success with the repairman on duty: an excessively pale man with a Chaplinesque mustache. When the witch decides to go to sleep, irritated by her failure, the apprentice tries to demonstrate her skills with the help of a necklace, an old record player, and some dance steps.
